Rarity and Appreciation Event
Today we are launching a greatly anticipated and requested feature to the Gantom Stones web-app, we’ve been itching to deploy. We can’t help but feel over the moon to finally have it ready and share with everyone. We’re dying for the feedback to our new utility and it's design... introducing the Gantom Scan!

So how is rarity for Gantom Stones determined?
Due to the the generative nature of the stones, rarity was pretty tricky to figure out as it changes with each new stone that is minted — there are no pre-defined or hard-coded traits and all rarity is based on what is minted. Fortunately, an AI solution was developed that analyzes each stone based on three attributes — shape, color, and code — and is available for usage on our website now.
Shape Factor: For shape we developed and trained a neural network to interpret the image to determine the closest shape possible, and group them accordingly.
Color Factor: We broke down each individual pixel value and counted the frequency of occurrence in the image. With this info we could determine the top two colors that are present in each stone. These combinations of colors form each category of the color factor.
Consecutive Code:
We test each code generated at the end of the stones names to see if they consist of the same four consecutive numbers.
A Chance to Win
Bring your stone for a chance to win a new one and some fantom!
